Apps for Good announce Natalie Moore as new CEO

Following an open recruitment process, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Natalie Moore as new Chief Executive Officer. Natalie joined Apps for Good in January 2013, building her experience through a variety of roles from Education Outreach and Development, to Director of Education and most recently Chief Operating Officer. Natalie is passionate about curating innovative education programmes to create an environment where young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can thrive. She previously worked on education programmes for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and also serves as a Governor for Harris Academy Ockendon.

Natalie embarks on her new role at an exciting time. In October, we announced the launch of our new climate action and wellbeing programme, ‘Innovate for Climate Change’, which is currently in pilot phase across the UK and Portugal. With no bigger issue facing young people than the climate crisis, Natalie is committed to our mission of enabling every young person, regardless of their background, to be empowered with the skills and knowledge to use technology to take positive action.

This new appointment follows news earlier this year that Heather Picov had decided to step down from her role as CEO after more than 8 years with Apps for Good. Heather continues to work closely with Natalie, the team and board to support the transition.
