Some students come from economically deprived backgrounds so they don’t naturally come into contact with engineers or business leaders...my students are going to meet with the team from Spotify and that is just so exciting as they all love their music and this is a company totally relevant to their current lives.

Examples of our work with Partners
OVO
Our exciting partnership with the OVO Foundation will enable 26,000 students to develop app prototypes that offer real solutions to the climate crisis. Guided by Industry Volunteers, including those from OVO and our other partners, young people will learn the practical skills they need to shape their future – and address climate change at the same time.
BNY
BNY are long-standing Apps for Good supporters and have helped with the introduction of our Innovate for Climate Change course, as well as celebrating thousands of student’s climate app ideas in our annual Showcase. Engaging with a host of volunteering opportunities, from delivering pitching sessions to tours of their London office, they have shown many students what a digital career could mean for them.
We continue to work in partnership with Google to support students in developing digital, green and essential skills. Offering industry-led ideation sessions and contributing to the Youth Ideation Toolkit as well as the Welsh translation of Innovate for Climate change - Google are supporting us to reach and impact many more young minds!
EPAM
EPAM have supported students to design technology for a more inclusive society and were sponsors of the Inclusive Creators category in our annual Showcase. They have delivered Showcase accelerator sessions, App in a Day workshops and career sessions virtually to schools across the UK.
We believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to participate in making the world a better place through technology and social impact...programmes such as Apps for Good are amazing because they are reaching the next generations of diverse talent that is going to set the tone for what's right and important in the years to come.
