What is your product and who is it for?

This app is for families who have suffered through Covid, inflation, low income and having no job. Our app gives discounts and offers for food shopping to these families so they can feed themselves without paying high amounts for food.

What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?

Our idea was inspired by people that we know going through hard times. It is important to us because our app helps families through tough experiences. It's not a nice to think that some families can’t get food just because of inflation, or if they have low income.

How does your product solve the problem?

Our app solves the problem by allowing people to remain healthy and full whilst keeping to a low budget. We were able to achieve this by creating our app to help people who can’t afford food due to not working and having no income or not enough money to support themselves or their family. We aimed to create a positive impact on society and in local areas. If our app is successful then hopefully people around the world will be able to access it! We hope the app can make people’s lives easier by allowing them to live a stable and healthy lifestyle.

How does it work?

Our app will work by having vouchers, a budget to keep track of expenses, and much more amazing details. Once you sign in you'll go to our homepage. At the bottom of the screen you’ll find different pages including coupons and discounts, a monthly budget, home page, help and support, and account information. Coupons and discounts will give you various options including discounts on clothes, fresh fruit, baked goods and dairy products. The monthly budget will allow you to create a budget for that month to see how much you’ve spent and how much you have left. A metre going from red to green shows you how much you have left. The help and support section includes budgeting information, how you can budget and why budgeting is important. Account information allows you to access all the points and rewards you have and see your membership number.
