Apps for Good Portugal won an incredible award this week.

The UNESCO - Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Award for Best Practices and Exemplary Performance in Improving Teacher Efficiency. The team in Portugal have been supporting over a thousand teachers to deliver the Apps for Good courses to students in the country.

Awarded every two years, the UNESCO Hamdan Prize supports the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning worldwide, giving priority to developing countries and marginalized and disadvantaged communities.

The international jury, which is composed of five distinguished professionals chosen for their knowledge and experience in issues related to teachers, selected Apps for Good Portugal for improving the performance and effectiveness of teachers to ensure quality education for all.
